Folk Dance New Zealand National Camp – August 9th & 10th 2008

The camp will be held at Havelock North (5 km from Hastings, 15 km from Napier), Hawke’s Bay, NZ

• New Zealand’s 7th Camp for Recreational International Folk Dancers
• Hosted by the International Dancing Group, in the year of our 25th Anniversary
• Supported by Folk Dance New Zealand
• Featuring Živana Vajsarová, on her first visit to New Zealand, to teach Czech styles (morning workshops)
• Sonya Arabadzhieva, a recent migrant from Bulgaria, teaching Bulgarian styles (afternoon workshops)
• and Australian-trained Fiona Murdoch, now of Hamilton, adding a Celtic flavour by leading social dancing at the evening party
