from the Society of Folk Dance Historians (sofdh.us)
The FDNZ Library includes a full set of Folk Dance Problem Solvers. These are a series of booklets published annually since 1987 that describe the details of many international folk dances, often including their history and other interesting information. The booklets are published by Ron Houston at the Society of Folk Dance Historians in the U.S.
FDNZ members may borrow these booklets from the library. Up to 3 booklets may be borrowed at one time, for up to 2 weeks at a time. To make a request send an e-mail to the editor, Kieron -
Please do not copy small portions out of context or without proper attribution, and please do not copy large portions without permission from SoFDH.
When you return the booklets you need to include stamps to the same value as the postage (so that you pay for postage in both directions).
To find out what is in the booklets you can download the cumulative contents: [SoFDH_cumul_index.pdf, 7 pages, 340 Kbytes].
Loans are only available to FDNZ members. Others who are interested may purchase copies of the Problem Solvers from Ron Houston directly [e-mail fdhist at yahoo.com].
